Her work emphasizes practical tools and strategies for creating supportive and inclusive spaces. Jewel is a Philadelphia-based leatherdyke service submissive, and Woman of Drummer 2022. They bring a unique perspective as a black, queer, trans, neurodivergent kinkster, and find meaning in connecting with leatherpeople of all backgrounds and identities. They are passionate about intergenerational relationships, rare kinky book collecting, and women’s leather history. A versatile player, Jewel is a switch with a special interest in impact, electrostimulation, and fisting. Bondage: Chairs 101 is an accessible beginner workshop that provides tools for participants an opportunity to explore restriction using everyday objects like chairs! We will cover very basic foundational ties in order to explore chairs and bondage.

Ivy Supreme, "The Kinky Herbalist," is a Wellness Advocate dedicated to using kink and herbal medicine to nurture the health of our community. Grounded in core values like loyalty, respect, and integrity, Ivy combines 15 years of expertise in wellness and counseling with certifications in herbalism from the Herbal Academy. They empower individuals to explore self-preservation through the interplay of kink practices and holistic healing, fostering physical, psychological, and emotional well-being. By integrating traditional herbal remedies and intentional kink education, Ivy supports the community in cultivating resilience and wellness.

Sven is a kinky chef passionate about everything food, kink, and sex education, with a strong commitment to decolonizing both food and sex. Sven loves explaining how everyday items found in your kitchen can be used as aphrodisiacs, enhancing intimacy and pleasure. Through their work, they blend culinary creativity with a desire to empower others to explore the intersections of sensuality and sustainability.

In this class, we will learn how to apply fire during fire play without burning the skin.

You will learn how to use fire wands and fire cupping safely. For pleasure or pain.

We will discuss what interests us about this kind of "play" and the benefits we can gain by playing with fire.

There will be hands-on practice and fire wands for sale.

Appetizers and an aftercare tea bar will be provided.

To ensure that folks get the most out of the workshop, this workshop is limited to 20 people.

If you attend this one you get a discount for our next workshop at this location.

  • Masks will be provided for those who wish to wear them but are not required.

Join us for a hands-on experience as you learn how to create your own fire wand (supplies provided). And then learn the art of fire cupping. This is a 101 workshop that is perfect for beginners/experienced folks looking to delve into the world of wand-making and cupping.

Throughout the workshop, we will discuss the appeal of this kind of "play" as well as fire safety. How not to burn your bottom (in a bad way), and how not to burn down the house. Time permitted we will break into small groups to experience what it's all about.

Although this workshop is open to all, BLX centers bringing education to the LGBTQ Black and Brown leather/kink community.
